Could you be the new Outreach Coordinator for Respect Inc at our Meanjin (Brisbane) office?
The job: This role coordinates the peer education and outreach activities of Respect Inc throughout Queensland including Respect Inc clinics, and supervises the staff who undertake these activities. The Outreach Coordinator ensures the organisation is providing high value outreach and peer education to sex workers throughout Queensland. The role contributes to sex workers having access to information, education, support, referrals and safer sex equipment and assists in the reduction of stigma, discrimination and isolation by providing access to community building and social events.
The hours: Permanent part time, 30 hours per week.
The pay: Social Community Home Care and Disability Services (SCHCADS) Industry Award 2010 Level 6.1 ($55.72) or 7.1 ($60.27) dependent on skills and experience – plus 12% Superannuation and Salary Packaging available.
