Respect Inc members are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting
DATE: Thursday 14th November 2024
TIME: 2PM
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is for all members of Respect Inc to attend. The meeting will deal with 2024 issues and business of Respect Inc. At the AGM, Respect Inc members will get to have their say and vote for nominated members to sit on the Management Committee and steer the Queensland sex worker organisation for the next twelve (12) months.
The AGM can be attended online via Google Meets or in person at our three offices.

Nominations are open for the 2024-25 Committee.
Nominations are invited from sex workers who are members of Respect Inc for any of the following positions on the Committee:
- Greater Brisbane x 2
- Greater Gold Coast, (within 100kms of Qld Border)
- Townsville
- Cairns
- Regional representative (200kms or more from an office)
- Transgender or gender diverse
- Asian language background
- Male and MSM
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
The roles of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and remaining Committee Members will be decided upon at the MC meeting after the AGM.
To nominate:
You must be nominated by a member of Respect Inc, and the nomination must be seconded by another member. If you wish to be nominated, please ask another member to nominate you.
Fill out the 2024 Management Committee Nomination form and email it to secretary@respectqld.org.au by Thursday 31st of October 2024.
Each Respect office also has printed nomination forms that you can fill out in person.

Become a member in time for the AGM:
If you are not a member and would like to be one, please fill in our membership application form. Membership applications must be received by Thursday 31st October to be processed in time for the AGM. These forms can be handed in at any Respect Inc office, or emailed to secretary@respectqld.org.au.
