COVID Harm Reduction

  • You can work online during lockdown.
  • You can take calls and plan bookings for when lockdown is over.
  • When lockdown is over you can start doing bookings again.
  • Screen clients for recent visits to Hot Spots, do not accept clients who have recently been in a Hot Spot.
  • Only one client at a time.
  • Ensure good airflow, open a window if you can (we know it’s cold but this is the best precaution!).
  • Outside of bookings, maintain physical distancing when you can.
  • Keep your client list up to date in case it is needed for contact tracing.
  • Comply with all COVID sex work rules. If this is confusing, contact us. Respect Inc are still open, we are an essential health service.

Police and Fines

  • During other lockdowns police have done compliance checks on sex industry businesses and sex workers.

  • You can be fined if you are doing sex work during lockdown. Police can use entrapment and pose as clients.

  • If you are fined or charged, contact Respect Inc for advice and referral.
