COVID Harm Reduction
- You can work online during lockdown.
- You can take calls and plan bookings for when lockdown is over.
- When lockdown is over you can start doing bookings again.
- Screen clients for recent visits to Hot Spots, do not accept clients who have recently been in a Hot Spot.
- Only one client at a time.
- Ensure good airflow, open a window if you can (we know it’s cold but this is the best precaution!).
- Outside of bookings, maintain physical distancing when you can.
- Keep your client list up to date in case it is needed for contact tracing.
- Comply with all COVID sex work rules. If this is confusing, contact us. Respect Inc are still open, we are an essential health service.
Police and Fines
-
During other lockdowns police have done compliance checks on sex industry businesses and sex workers.
-
You can be fined if you are doing sex work during lockdown. Police can use entrapment and pose as clients.
-
If you are fined or charged, contact Respect Inc for advice and referral.
