Could you be the new part-time Peer Educator for Respect Inc, in Meanjin (Brisbane)?
The job: The Brisbane Peer Educator will be responsible for providing peer education, support and referrals to sex workers in QLD. This role will also be responsible for community development events and activities, providing workforce development training to external organisations and continuing to build a referrals database of friendly services for sex workers in QLD. Local and regional outreach to sex workers and sex work workplaces and some travel will be required.
The hours: Permanent part time, 30 hours per week.
The pay: Social Community Home Care and Disability Services (SCHCADS) Industry Award 2010 Level 5.1 ($51.00) plus 12% Superannuation and Salary Packaging available.
